Sprayhoods, Cockpit Enclosures and Biminis
 

Arun Sails supply and fit sprayhoods for all types of sailing or motorboats, both traditional or modern.

Your sprayhood is made to measure and fitted to your boat after discussing the size, style and type with you. A wide range of colours are available to choose from so you can match your own existing colour scheme.  

The hood is made from high quality polyurethane coated acrylic sewn to suit each individual set of bars to ensure a perfect fit.
 

Windows, within reason, can be made as big or as small as you like.  

Marine grade polished stainless steel bars are fabricated to ensure a perfect fit. Choice of 2 or 3 bar, 3/4” diameter with standard fittings or 7/8” diameter with heavy duty fittings are available.

The option of a PVC band pulling on the back edge of the sprayhood to deal with excess wear and tear is available.

Repair or Renewal
 
Should you have an existing sprayhood that is in need of repair or renewal, then Arun Sails can either recover your existing bars with new acrylic from a large range of colours or repair your old one. Cloudy, cracked or crazed windows can be replaced to be as good as new. Grab rails, PVC pulling bands and chafe patches can all be fitted to existing hoods.

Making life easier!
 
A stainless steel grab rail welded to the back bar makes life easier when getting in and out of the cockpit or in rough weather. This bar can also be leather covered.

 

Cockpit Enclosures 

Extra Room
 
Make more use of your cockpit when not under sail. A back enclosure can be made to zip onto your sprayhood. Ideal for giving that extra bit of room when the weather is inclement, when entertaining, with children and/or animals aboard and for giving more privacy when in marinas or alongside harbour walls.
 
Biminis

Biminis are becoming more and more popular in this country and not just something seen in the Med or the Caribbean.

Providing shade over the cockpit and hatch area the marine grade stainless steel bars and U.V. stabilised acrylic gives welcome respite from the sun. 

When not in use the framework quickly folds down to the deck and packs away into its own specially made valise to leave the cockpit area clear.
