| If you are considering fitting a furling system for your headsail or mainsail contact us for advice and a price. If you do not wish to fit the system yourself, Arun Sails can arrange for an experienced local rigger to do the work for you. Package Deals If you are looking for both a sail and the furling gear we can offer you a really great deal on the Package. We will advise you on the best system for you and your boat and then work with the supplier and/or fitter to ensure we get the correct measurements to make you a furling sail, built to last and giving the best possible performance. Luff Modifications If you have opted for a furling system Arun Sails can modify the luff on your existing headsails to enable you to feed them into your new foil. It is not always the best course of action due to the difference in shape and cut of the old sails, but it does enable you to use your old sails. It is not practical to modify a standard mainsail for furling. Sacrificial Ultra Violet (U.V.) Strips Arun Sails add U.V. strips to new sails and also renew them on older sails. We use a lightweight specially coated cloth which provides a U.V. barrier giving total protection for the exposed sail at all times especially when furled. We have a choice of colours, red, blue, white and tan to suit traditional boats. |
